Happy Easter!

Just a short message to wish a Happy Easter to all who celebrate it! Hope you all have lots of chocolate eggs to eat!
In case you haven’t seen it in the forum yet the Easter bunny will bring you a new game in the upcoming days! Tentative Release Date is to fall between April 29th and May 4th!

Glory, er sorry, Busy Days

Spring is arriving and with it so will a couple of new Aldorlea games. For that though, I must work! O___o

Apart from the games themselves, I’ve also been investing some time in the forum and I hope that joining a Menage is now sounding a bit more appealing and that you all are enjoying breaking through the walls of the “Mystery Game” Castle!

More is soon to come as my partner company is readying itself to open the doors of their website and more info regarding the mystery joint project is about to reach the forum.

Chilling or… Stinking?

Well, about those heaters… Turns out that repairman came and went, a piece of the boiler was replaced AND… now I have to choose whether I want hot water on my taps or hot water for the heaters… So folks it all comes down to: chilling or stinking! XD
To be honest is not that bad since I can restart the boiler and choose a different option every now and then but I do find the choice rather humorous!

Anyway, waiting for repairman to return and replace another boiler piece. Hope this one sets it right for good!

Chilling out or… Chilling in?

I was reminded to update this blog, so here goes…

As you may already know I’m currently working on two Spring projects – Millennium 4: Beyond Sunset and a collaborative project of which I will speak more about in the upcoming week.

However, unfortunately for me, Spring is not here yet and at the moment I’m facing two chilling options: chilling out or chilling in!
You see my boiler has decided to take a break from working (unlike me) and until I can get it repaired (crossing my fingers that it will actually be tomorrow) I’m with no heaters in the house. So if you’re a fan of my games I’m sure you’re wishing me to “chill in” and work regardless (yes the computer does provide some warmness and I do have extra sweaters and blankets I can cover myself with). However if you’re me, then you really rather go visit friends and family than staying at home withstupid broken heaters! Hmmm… decisions, decisions….. ^^

X-mas is coming to Aldorlea!!

Somehow I always end up forgetting to update this blog more frequently than I wanted to…

Anyway, Xmas is around the corner and to celebrate it I’ve lowered the price for Laxius Force 1 and 2 by 30%! These are really BIG games, so if you haven’t played them yet now is your chance to get them at a discount price!

Also if you’re looking for some Xmas presents do have a look at Aldorlea’s CafePress page – I’ve just added some new 2011 calendars which in my opinion just look plain cute (I am biased though!).

Finally, if you’re enjoying MM1′s new build you’ll be pleased to know that MM2′s is coming along very nicely and should be released in a few more days – definitely out before Xmas!

In the meantime, you may want to join in our forum Xmas festivities – open to one and all!

New versions of MM1 and MM2 are coming along!

I guess you will all be happy to know that MM1 is just about ready with the new features and its new version should probably be uploaded in 1 or 2 days after I finish testing it and make sure the new features are not creating new glitches anywhere in the game!

Then onto MM2, which should not be too much longer!

In the meanwhile, I’ll actually be going on holidays pretty soon – I figured that after a couple of years without them, I was finally entitled to some! lol

Anyway, that means MM2′s newest version should be up shortly after I come back!
In any case I won’t be away for long, so the wait won’t be long either!

The Millennium Series!

Hi all!

Unfortunately I had more on my plate than I could take and the video preview was not possible!

However the game is out – as most of you will have noticed by now! Hope you all enjoy it!

For now, I’m currently focusing on new versions of MM1 and MM2 also featuring the same options as MM3. It’s a bit late to do it now but I would like all the games in the series to be cohesive regarding their features! Hopefully some of you will enjoy playing these games again with the new options available!

Millennium 3

Time for a new update!
I’m currently working on polishing MM3 as well as clearing some bugs in the game.
After I’m happy with the overall look and content (just a couple more days) I shall proceed to the more intense beta-testing of it – so that the only bugs that will remain will be the ones you’ll need to fight ehehe!
In the meanwhile, I hope you enjoy Aldorlea’s Halloween Contest and that you do participate for your chance of getting a free copy of the game! Final batch of questions is coming this Friday!
The last days before a release are always stressful and very busy but hopefully I’ll still have time to write a few more lines before the game comes out! I bet you would all like a preview video of the game, no?
Until then, it’s back to work for me…

A new website for Aldorlea Games

I’ve taken a few days to design and code the new website of Aldorlea.

I hope you will like it! It has a lot of new features such as the link to this blog, the goodies page where fans can contribute (they would have to drop me a message though), the videos page etc. Now I’m done with this, I’ll regularly update so I hope you’ll visit it more often. And here is me going back to work on Millennium 3.

It should be out for Halloween! XD

Laxius Force 3 is out!

At last, after starting in May 2001 a saga that would feature 7 games (and counting), the finale episode of the Laxius Force trilogy is finally out!

Epic and grandiose, it is also the best of the three, according to myself and apparently the players, judging from the forum posts.

It’s both funny and very interesting if you want to know more about the game!

It was hard and exhausting to make this game (especially since I caught a bug in my throat too x___x), but it was worth it!
